Lexus RC 350 Protected With Modesta Paint Coatings

San Antonio Texas — Recently one of our regular customers stopped by the shop to show us his new Lexus RC 350 This is an absolutely beautiful car and draws stares from any on passing buy. The Lexus infrared metallic finish produces great gloss and is highly reflective. Our customer wanted to have the paint protected with a wax or sealant to keep it looking new and help aid in his washing process. We explained the differences between waxes, sealants and the highly durable long lasting paint coatings being offered today. The Lexus was washed and decontaminated and the paint was then inspected. The paint was in excellent condition and hadn’t been molested by the local car wash or dealer. We set out to do a little light paint correction and apply Modesta BC-05. The wheels were removed and detailed front and back. We sprayed two coats of Modesta BC-06.

BC-06 undergoes a chemical reaction when it comes in contact with a painted surface, creating a hard glass coating. It has a tightly packed molecular structure that creates a solid, long-lasting surface. BC-06 is heatproof up to 1,300 °C – enough to protect wheels on this Lexus from burning-hot brake dust.

Modesta BC-05 was applied to all of the exterior painted surfaces.Modesta BC-05 produces a deep shine and helps to protect the paint from all kinds of damage including wash-induced damages, scratches, oxidation, sap, watermarks, salts, acids and even permanent ink and paints. It’s strong water-repellent properties also promote the self-cleaning effects.

After the application the curing process begins. This is don with the help of shortwave iR curing lamps. These lamps heat the coating and the surface of the paint to 140 degrees. This speeds up the process and the coating harden.
